Life through the eyes of a child

Hi everyone

Today was one of those days that all my family eat dinner at one table. Instead of the usual regulatory: one sitting in his room, 2 are sitting in the table and the other are watching television while eating.
After dinner, we talked about the things that my youngest brother (Sam, 8 year) said.

One time he was sitting next to me when I was playing a game with the computer and asked me: ,,Tom, do you have a girlfriend?" At this moment I didn't had a girlfriend so I told him that I didn't. ,,Then," he said: ,,Maybe I know a nice girlfriend for you. Do you like girls with blond hair?" Me: ,,Yes, but it doesn't matter what hair color they have." He: ,,I know some one for you. She was also at the barbecue last week." She was 12 years old and I told him this difference is a bit strange. The second question was even stranger then the last one. He asked me if I also got the feeling that my penis gets bigger when you see a beautiful girl.
You should have seen my face... I answered him with: Ehmm, ask dad xD

He went after my respond, probably feeling that the question he asked was very strange.

I asked my father if Sam also asked this question to him. My father said: Yes, and he also had a name for it.
We asked Sam how he would call this feeling and he said: It's called instinct.

Well I couldn't give him wrong, but it sounded very strange coming from a 6-year old (yes, this happened 2 years ago xD)

When this story was told, we talked about a lot more of these kind of stories. Only they are all a little bit to long to explain.

Hi everyone,

Today a good friend wanted to tell a story. He really needed to tell the story to someone that could understand and give the right advice, so I told him he could tell me.

A few weeks ago he had a girlfriend that he loved a lot. He would do anything for her, really. In time he met her parents and her friends, and this was the moment that she was acting weird. She was starting to be afraid of the commitment. After some days she broke up with him and he was a mess.
In 2 days after this happend he was starting to realize he fell in love with another girl. At this moment he tried to figure out the feeling he had for his ex girlfriend and how it was possible to get her out of his head so fast.
He was starting to think that he only wanted the idea of having a girlfriend with all the good and bad sides. The cuddling, the kissing, the hugging, the push in the back with things you normally wouldn't do, the confidence you get and what you give, to share the weight of each other problems and I can keep on going.
Now he fell in love with one of his best friends and he is worried sick if he would not make the same mistake. He wants to have the relation as a friend, but also more.

As you could see this goes very deep and at first I couldn't came up with the right anwser... I understood him well, because I've been through this. Only I can't give him the anwser... it's not in any guide book you can find or something, because every person is different and the only thing you can do is listen to the people that have gone through the same and try to put your own swing to it.

How I came to the anwser... I didn't actually. When I went to Spain for my traineeship I met my girlfriend... She is my everything and she helped me get through this feeling and I'm gratefull to her that she is always here for me, even if she is in miles away. I love her with all my heart ♥

An ordinary day

Hi everyone,

It's been a long time since I have written something :$ I'm sorry... The reason: School & inspiration.
I will try to put more posts from now on, I promise ;D

Today I needed to recover some sleep from my week. I finished my studies with an average of 8 and now I'm working as a holiday employee in my former traineeship company.

The days are long and tiring:

My ordinary work day: wake up at 5:15 am: Shower, Breakfast, Iron my clothes, and then go to my collegue :D Every morning I can go with my collegue to work :D She lives close to my village, so when it's dry (the weather) I'll go with my bike to her house. At 7:30 am we arrive at work and at 4:00 pm were finished. By the time I'm back home (with the car to my collegues house and then by bike to my own) it's 5:15 pm. Then I always know something to do till dinner and after dinner I talk with my girlfriend till 12:00 pm. And then the same routine follows.

Today I woke up at 11:00 o'clock and had cornflakes as breakfast. My parents were doing groseries and my brothers were working, so I had the house for myself :D In the afternoon Rob (my brother of 19) needed to go to his friends but it was raining, so he asked me to drive him to the appartment where they should meet.
He hasn't got his divers license yet. Then my other brother, Bas, came with the idea to go to the movies. So when we dropped Rob off at the appartment, Bas and I went to the movies.
We went to 'Ice age 4 (3D)' and it was hilarious.

Now I'm going to talk with my girl ♥ and till the next post ;)

Good evening everyone,

The 1st of January I went to Spain (Catalonia) to visit my girlfriend :D She thought I would arrive the 3th because this was the original plan, but I wanted to suprise her so I chose a different date :P This time I could stay in their house (instead of hiring an appartement). We went a couple of times to Barcelona...

This was in the route to the train station 

 

 BARCELONAAAAA!!!!!!!!!

 The 6th of January in Spain they celebrate the three kings very big. This is a typical bread for this day. It tastes very good and there is some sort of game in it. Inside the bread they put some sort of toys (A) one of a bean and one of a king. The person who gets the bean, needs to pay the bread. The one who gets the king needs to wear the crown :D

 Ofcourse my little moffimoffiiiiii got the king (L)

 The 6th of January isn't only an important day of the three kings. There is something else that is more important!!!!!  And this is the birthday of Carlota!!! ♥♥♥

 In the evening we went to a restaurant to celebrate her birthday and as you can see she looked beautiful!!!!!!! (as always ♥)

 The 10th we claimed the kitchen as ours, because we wanted to make Kinder chocolate muffins and an Oreo Cake... It was a disaster xD but also very funny (A) Take notice that the body on my skirt is the same as when I take it off ehhhhhh xD jajajajaja xD (Commando style)

The 10th was also the birthday of the grandmother of Carlota and we use our brick... I mean Oreo cake as a pie for the birthday candles xD 

 

 The 11th I returned to Holland (all against my own will) The saying goodbye was horrible, but when knowing you have someone so precious to you and that you will go back to her, to hold her in your own arms again.

This makes it all a little easier, VERY LITTLE!!!

The flight back was nice because the plane was almost empty as you can see on the picture

Update :D

Hello everyone,

It's almost been one month ago since I last posted a blog. In the meantime I did a lot of things to talk about so I will tell you something about the most important things ;-)

2 December my Girlfriend and her mother came to Holland!!!!! We went to various touristic places and some of those places were new for me too. We went to Volendam, my aunt, Zevenhuizen and Scheveningen.
In Volendam you can make a typical old fashion photo in their traditional clothes. At the house of my aunt we celebrated Sinterklaas and I got a lot of presents like a watch (but I think this was from someone else ♥).

In Zevenhuizen we made some pictures of windmills and after this we went to Scheveningen. Scheveningen is the beach of The Hague, and this is also a nice place to see (for everyone who will visit Holland). In Scheveningen there was an ice skating rink (only for some days) and we also did this :D

17 december I went to the Casino. I learned how to lose 85 euro in 30 minutes -.- but shortly after this I won my money back, played for several hours and returned with 40 in plus :D

And today, today it is Christmas. This morning I ate my breakfast with my family. We had a lot of different things like: croissants (normal and cheese), chocolate bread, brioche bread and almond bread.

My girlfriend is in Madrid now and I wish she could be here to celebrate Christmas with me. But that's life (I guess). The rest of the day I'm still talking with her on messenger or Skype, so I don't feel sad (well, a little). As long as she knows I love her ♥ (I'll be returning to her soon in January)

11 days ♥

Good evening everyone,

It's been some time since I last posted my blog but I'm a busy man and I do my best to do something interesting every day for you guys (and girls) but that's almost impossible ;D.
Well last week was just a regular week with regular things that could happen to any regular 20 year old boy.

Last week I needed to finish my project in my work (as a trainee). Well I finished it on time but the result is not what I expected it to be. I wanted an easy anwser, but I guess there is never an easy anwser in the laboratory '-.- With the result I got I need to do a second project what would take a lot more time than I am used to. My calculation is the following formule. A test of 27 possible products which needs to be tested in 3 different ratio's (minimal, mid, maximal) and then in 2 different kinds of bases (cationic/anionic) well as you can see and see the result these are 162 products. With each these products I need to do 2 kinds of tests. One test takes 45 minutes and the other one takes at least 25 minutes.
As you can see this is a hell of a work and very complicated. But nothing is impossible *when I keep saying this to myself I hope I can make it in time*.

Well but that's not the most exiting news I have got to tell...
Because in 11 days my GIRL ♥ will come to my home country!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes, I can't say it enough, because I haven't seen her in a lot of time. Normally we can see each other with the  webcam. But her webcam was very old and it broke... So I haven't seen her in maybe 3 weeks and it's terrible. That's why the 11 days are so important. (Sweetie you know I love you ♥)

Well that's about it for today. I will update you about my project and we will see if I will make it in time ;)

"Sinterklaas"

Good morning people,

Today is the day that "Sinterklaas" arrives in Holland. Thousands of children are waiting all year for this moment.
You could compare Sinterklaas with the Santa Claus. The story of Sinterklaas is that he is an old bishop that comes from Spain to give the childeren that were good this year presents. He has a book with all the names and he knows everything. If you were a bad child this year you would get coals and soap this year and if you were a very bad child he would take you with him to Spain to teach you a lesson.
But today is not the day all the children are waiting for. The day they are waiting for is the day when he returns to Spain. This day he gives a bag with gifts to all the good children and in the evening he goes back to Spain.
This day is on 5 December. This year, Sinterklaas evening will be a little bit different. My girlfriend from Spain and her mother will also come (2 till 5 December) and we celebrate this evening with half my family. She has never been to Holland before and in these days she will see almost all my family xD
After reading this story you need to think hard to see if you did anything wrong this year because he won't give you anything if you did something wrong ;)
